HomeQuest (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a family chore and earning app. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the HomeQuest mobile application (the “App”).

Summary: We process account and household data to run the App, optional cloud sync via Supabase, subscription status via RevenueCat, and—if you enable them—proof photos and push notifications. We do not sell your personal information.

The App is intended for use by parents or legal guardians who create and manage a household. Children may use the App under a parent’s supervision and with profiles the parent sets up. If you are a parent, you are responsible for your family’s use of the App.

You may request deletion of your account or data where applicable; some records may be retained where required by law or legitimate business needs (for example, minimal purchase records).

7. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children for independent sign-up. Household accounts should be created and managed by a parent or guardian. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child in a way that violates applicable law, contact us at the email below and we will take appropriate steps.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

9. International transfers

If you use the App from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred and processed in those regions. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards where required.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object or restrict certain processing. Contact us to make a request. You may also adjust some data directly in the App or through Apple’s subscription settings.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy, except where required otherwise by law.
